IDEC Mindscapes: Unplug & Recharge

Unplug & Recharge is designed to be a sanctuary for neurodiverse college students to support their mental health. To have a variety of spaces for a variety of students, there is a communal area in addition to several acoustically sound private rooms. This space also highlights lockers to store personal technology. Biophilia in the form of natural light and patterns has been included in addition to calm, cool colors. Tactile materials have been included for non-conventional needs, as well as furniture that emphasizes the senses, like a vibration bench and a sensory swing.
