Capitol City Pediatric Asthma Clinic

The Capitol City Pediatric Asthma Center (CCPAC) is designed as a welcoming and supportive clinic environment for pediatric patients and their families. Centered around the playful theme "Coral Reef Cove," the design transforms the healthcare experience into an engaging underwater world filled with vibrant colors, ocean imagery, and friendly sea creatures that help ease anxiety and create a sense of comfort during visits.

Material selections such as textured, non-slip vinyl flooring, light wood finishes, and rippled glass evoke the movement and texture of water while maintaining the durability and cleanability required in healthcare environments. The layout prioritizes comfort, efficiency, and intuitive navigation to support both patients and staff.

Sustainability and accessibility are also key components of the design. Recycled materials, sensor-activated lighting, and biophilic elements help create a healthier environment, while ADA-compliant features - including varied seating options and seamless flooring transitions - ensure the space remains welcoming and accessible for users of all ages and abilities.
