2024 Scheels Design Challenge

Every year for the past 7 years, Scheels Home & Hardware has allowed NDSU interior design students to participate in the Scheels Design Challenge. Teams draw a vignette and a theme from a hat and get to preparing for the competition by purchasing $500 of accessories to use in the space. My group drew Lake Retreat and was rewarded with the "People's Choice" award. 

The Lake Retreat theme embodies a cozy cabin atmosphere, incorporating elements from the surrounding trees and water. Featuring natural wood and stone, along with accents like pinecones and birch trees, this theme is complemented by a calming color palette of greens and blues. It creates a serene space perfect for relaxation.
